It gives me immense pleasure in presenting the annual report 2012 of Kendriya Vidyalaya WCL Chandrapur on this auspicious and momentous occasion of our 28th Annual Day Celebration. It reminds me of the words of P.B. Shelley

“Higher still and still higher

  From the Earth thou springest

  Like a cloud of fire.”

I would like to apprise the galaxy of intellectuals here that we endeavour to rise higher and higher each passing year and create dreams in the minds of children and work with them to realize it, not just in academics, but also in the enhancement of their life skills and set them on the path to a bright and successful future.

In this auspicious moment of celebrating the 28th annual day of the Vidyalaya it would be inappropriate not to mention about the services of the colossal organization Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan of which we are also a part. KV Sangathan is premier organization in the field of run under HRD Ministry, Govt of India, presently administering 1018 schools all over India and 3 schools abroad in Kathmandu, Moscow and Tehran.

We started our journey in the year 1984 and since its inception the Vidyalaya has striving to fulfil the dreams of many. It has been our sacred duty to enlighten the students of this area and we have been successful in this venture. Our vidyalaya began now Class I and Class VI and the first batch of class Xth came out in the year 1990. Till now the vidyalaya has seen 23 batches of class 10th and 13 batches of class 12th(Science) and 36 toppers of these batches. With pleasure I would like to add during these 28 years of service the vidyalaya has produced several engineers, doctors, Class I officer, teachers and some professionals serving in foreign countries.

Now I would like to embark on the statistical data of the Vidyalaya. The Vidyalaya is having Classes from I to Class XII (science stream with computer science).  The strength of enrolment of students is about 487 and there are 30 staff members of various categories.
